Economic Calendar for the Week of December 27 – December 31
The bond market should remain in “holiday mode” this week with a reduced
economic calendar and an early close on New Year's Eve, Friday, December 31.
Given the quiet, lower volume holiday trading, it is not likely that there
will be any dramatic change in home loan rates this week.
Remember, as a general rule, weaker than expected economic data is good for
rates, while positive data causes rates to rise.
